Professor promotes understanding between Christians, Muslims

Carol Schersten LaHurd has hope that the rift between some Christians and Muslims in the United States can be bridged with a bit of understanding. As such, part of the scholar's work to improve inter-religious relations involves introducing the Christians she speaks with to Muslims. In line with that goal, LaHurd, an adjunct professor at the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago, recently helped create a document for clergy members and lay leaders in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
