Priest suspended after admitting to abusing minor in Athens County

ATHENS COUNTY -- A priest has been suspended after admitting to having sexual contact with and abusing a minor in Athens County, according to the Diocese of Steubenville.An attorney for the diocese filed a report with the Athens County sheriff's office, the diocese said on Saturday. The diocese said it believes the alleged abuse by Father Christopher Foxhoven occurred within the county."We must remain vigilant in assisting victims of sexual abuse," Bishop Jeffrey Monforton said in a news release
