Power restored to thousands after outages in northwest Columbus

COLUMBUS -- More than 9,000 American Electric Power customers were without power in west Columbus on Wednesday.Parts of Upper Arlington, Grandview and the university area lost power.An equipment failure is believed to have caused the outages, according to AEP Ohio.
