Power expected back within hour for 14,000 AEP customers in Columbus area

Nearly 14,000 AEP Ohio customers without power in the Columbus area should have their power back within the hour, the utility estimated in a tweet at 5:26 p.m. today. The outage, caused by a distribution station equipment failure, is affecting customers in west and southeast Columbus and the Short North, AEP said.
