Portman says Senate should wait to consider Scalia successor

Sen. Rob Portman said today the U.S. Senate should hold off confirming a replacement for the late Antonin Scalia's U.S. Supreme Court seat until a new president is elected in the fall. But earlier, former Gov. Ted Strickland called on the Republican senator to not delay the consideration as many in the GOP have said they want.
