“Poppa’s Ring” Honors Bill Willis

Poppa’s Ring is a children’s book about football star Bill Willis and his experience and challenges as a trailblazer at East High School, The Ohio State University, and with the Cleveland Browns. Written by his daughter-in-law, Linda Fleming-Willis, a Columbus resident, the book focuses on Bill’s legacy of being a good communicator and the importance of family. A portion of each book sale is directed to the Bill and Odessa Willis Youth Fund at The Columbus Foundation.
