Police want 'move over' law penalties increased
Two Ohio lawmakers along with the Fraternal Order of Police announced a new bill Wednesday to strengthen the state's "Move Over" law.The current law requires drivers to slow down and if possible, change lanes away from police and emergency vehicles pulled over on the side of the road.Despite the law taking affect more than a decade ago, accidents - and sometimes fatal ones - still happen.The proposed bill would increase the penalty for violators from a misdemeanor to a first-degree misdemeanor,
