Police searching for suspect in attempted robbery

WHITEHALL- Police are looking for a man that tried to rob a store at knifepoint.On December 23, 2017, around 6:00 a.m. the suspect went into the United Dairy Farmers store in the 4300 block of East Broad Street. He showed a knife to the cashier and demanded money from the safe.The worker was able to get into a locked backroom and call the police.
