Police searching for suspect after deadly shooting in Newark

NEWARK, Ohio - Police in Newark are investigating a deadly shooting Wednesday night.A Licking County Sheriff's Office dispatcher said the call about a shooting came in around 10:12 p.m. and officers responded to the 100 block of Elmwood Avenue in Newark.A dispatcher confirmed the person who was shot has died.Police are still looking for a suspect.
