Police respond to bomb threat in Perry Township

PERRY TOWNSHIP - Perry township police and the Franklin County sheriff's office bomb squad reported to a bomb threat at a home on Copperfield Drive in Perry Township.Authorities were alerted to the scene by a company who was called in to clear out the house.The bomb squad found two inactive grenades and a mortar round that had powder but no fuse.Crews on scene cleared out the houses neighboring the scene as a precaution. There was no threat to the neighborhood.
