Police: Pedestrian struck shuts down I-70 eastbound on west side

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Columbus police say Interstate 70 is shut down on the west side because a pedestrian was struck.It happened around 2 a.m. Saturday morning. Police say the interstate is closed between Hilliard Rome Road and I-270.That person was taken to Grant Medical Center and pronounced dead.Police say the person was hit in a construction zone and the driver did stay at the scene.Stay with 10TV and 10TV.com for updates.
