Police: Man pistol-whipped in violent German Village robbery

Columbus police robbery detectives have released images of a person wanted in connection to a violent robbery that happened in the middle of the day.Detectives say the 30-year-old man was approached by an unknown man near 52 Thurman Avenue, just south of Schiller Park in German Village on October 28 just around noon.The robber walked up with a handgun and demanded money from the man.
