Police: K-9 dead after attacking handler at training academy

COLUMBUS - Columbus Police told 10TV an officer shot and killed a K-9 after being attacked Saturday morning.It happened just before 9 a.m. at the Columbus Police Academy in the 2600 block of McKinley Avenue.The officer was hospitalized and taken to Grant Medical Center in an unknown condition.Stay with 10TV and 10TV.com on this developing story.
