Police identify victim in southwest Columbus shooting

COLUMBUS -- One person is dead after a shooting in southwest Columbus late Monday night.Columbus police have identified the victim as 24-year-old Jared M. Bentley.Officers said they received the call at 11:46 PM Monday near an apartment complex on the 4600 block of Bay Run Drive. That's near Georgesville Road and Parkwick Drive just east of I-270.Investigators said Bentley got involved in a fight between two small groups.
