Police identify pedestrian struck, killed in south Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ohio — A pedestrian who was struck and killed in south Columbus Wednesday night has been identified, according to police.Columbus police say the call came in just after 9:30 p.m. on Jackson Pike near the Franklin County Correctional Center.Douglas Cook, 49, of Columbus was walking southbound in the southbound lane of Jackson Pike north of Dyer Road.
