Police identify man killed in Newark two-vehicle crash

NEWARK, Ohio -- Newark police have identified a man killed in a two-vehicle crash Sunday afternoon.The crash happened just before noon Sunday at the intersection of Mount Vernon Road and the State Route 16 eastbound off-ramp, according to police.Investigators said Aaron Madinger, 50, of Newark was driving a gray 2014 Honda and had just exited State Route 16 eastbound when he was struck by Charles Preston, 25, of Mount Vernon who was driving a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500.
