Police identify Columbus man killed in motorcycle crash on I-71

COLUMBUS – A man died Friday morning in a motorcycle crash on Interstate 71, according to police.The crash happened around 4:40 a.m. on I-71 north between 17th Avenue and East Hudson Street.Columbus Police say 42-year-old James Taylor, of Columbus, lost control of his motorcycle and struck the guardrail on the side of the freeway.Taylor was ejected from the vehicle.Responding medics pronounced him dead at the scene.The crash remains under investigation.
