Police identify 2 killed in Violet Township crash; alcohol believed to be a factor

Authorities say alcohol is believed to be a factor in a deadly crash Sunday night in Fairfield County.The crash happened about 10:30 p.m. when a 2017 Chevrolet Impala and 1999 Chevy Silverado both were eastbound on Basil Western Road.According to the Lancaster post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the Silverado struck the rear of the Impala.
