Police: Driver admitted to drinking before crash that killed 7-year-old girl

COLUMBUS — Police say a girl has died following a crash in northeast Columbus Saturday evening.Detectives say the SUV was traveling at a high rate of speed going southbound on Cleveland Avenue near East 12th Avenue.The driver tried to avoid another vehicle and lost control off the right side of the road hitting a pole and flipped the SUV upside down, landing on its top.Witnesses told police at least one child was ejected from the vehicle.According to Columbus police, a total of five childr
