Police confirm three people struck by lightning in Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR/WBNS) — The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department told WTHR-TV three people were hit by lightning in the 7200 block of North College Avenue.Emergency responders are heading to the northwest part of Park Tudor School.Cathy Chapelle from Park Tudor Communications said students were not involved. She told WTHR a paving crew was working on a parking area near the fine arts building when the lightning hit.Chapelle said the injured people were transported to the hospital
