Police: Briggs High School student found with firearm in backpack

COLUMBUS -- A Briggs High School student was found with a gun in the school Tuesday and will be facing charges, according to Columbus Police.According to a tweet by Columbus Police, two students told a school resource officer they overheard another student mention he had a gun.The student was searched and arrested without incident. During the search, a gun and two loose rounds were found in the student's backpack.
