Police: Boy injured by float during Upper Arlington parade

A boy was reportedly injured during the Upper Arlington July 4th parade Monday morning.Upper Arlington Police were notified the boy, approximately 11-12 years old, was injured on Northwest Blvd. near Collingswood Road during the parade.The boy had sustained an injury to his leg after possibly getting caught underneath the trailer tire of a parade float.Police did not say if the child had fallen off the float or if he was walking next to it.He was taken to the Nationwide Children’s Hospital
