'Pill mill' doctor found dead in home

A physician who pleaded guilty last month to operating a “pill mill” has been found dead in his Licking County home. The sheriff’s office received a call at 11:08 a.m. Tuesday that Dr. David Rath, 60, was found on the floor of the master bedroom at his home on Timber Creek Court East, about a mile northwest of Alexandria in western Licking County. A co-worker, Scott Stewart, had gone to the house to check on Rath, who had not been seen since Dec. 23, according to a sheriff&rsqu
