Pike County man pulls driver from burning car in fiery I-270 crash
Columbus police have cited a 73-year-old semi-truck driver for a minor misdemeanor after investigators say he rear-ended a car on the interstate.The initial wreck caused a chain reaction damaging eight cars and two semi-trucks during rush hour on Interstate 270 in the southbound lanes. After two vehicles caught fire, a few good Samaritans jumped into action.He doesn't want the recognition."It was just a good deed," Brian Carroll said.He says he isn't a hero, but Brian Carroll saved a man's life.
