Paula Brooks calls on primary rival Kevin Boyce to explain SEC probe

Franklin County Commissioner Paula Brooks said she is “shocked and saddened” that a federal investigation says her opponent in the Democratic primary, Kevin Boyce, attended a meeting where his deputy demanded campaign donations for Boyce from a bank seeking state contracts.
