Pathways Project gives at-risk youth a start toward technology jobs

Stephen Booker has learned plenty over the past eight weeks. He picked up hard skills, soft skills, an information-technology certification and, just as important, the confidence to put it all to use. "I also learned not to sell myself short," Booker said after his graduation ceremony on Friday at Per Scholas, a nonprofit agency that provides free technology training and employment services.
