Pataskala man gets 9 years for fatal collision with motorcyclist

NEWARK — A Pataskala man has been sentenced to nine years in prison for crashing into a motorcycle on a Licking County road in April, killing one of its riders. Joseph L. McClain II, 25, pleaded guilty in Licking County Common Pleas Court Tuesday to aggravated vehicular homicide, aggravated vehicular assault, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence and two counts of failure to stop after an accident.
