Partnership aims to keep seniors in their homes

For years, National Church Residences has been content with being the nation's largest nonprofit provider of affordable senior housing. But in the years to come, the group would like to help older adults live as independently as possible in their homes, with a particular focus on helping the frailest seniors avoid unnecessary 911 calls, rehospitalizations and emergency-room visits, said Mark Ricketts, its president and CEO.
