Papal document's aim lives on 50 years later

Cristina Butler, president of the Interfaith Association of Central Ohio, turned to those words of the German Cardinal Walter Kasper to explain the importance of encouraging people of different faiths to try to understand and accept one another. Kasper, she said, included the phrase in a reflection on "Nostra Aetate", a Catholic Church document that brought about significant changes in the church's relationship with other faiths, especially Judaism.
