Panel weighs congressional gerrymandering

As another former Republican governor joins in support, the Ohio Constitutional Modernization Commission could soon recommend that lawmakers reform Ohio’s system of drawing congressional districts. A panel of the commission hopes to vote next month to recommend to the full group a redistricting plan very similar to the one passed overwhelmingly by voters in November to bring more transparency and bipartisanship to the process for drawing state legislative districts.
