Panel: Longer oversight needed at women’s prison

DAYTON — A correctional facility inspection committee said monitoring should continue at a troubled women’s prison in Dayton despite signs of improvement. The Correctional Institution Inspection Committee said staff stability at the Dayton Correctional Institution has been a problem and that no mental-health programs were conducted in more than a month.
