OVI checkpoints scheduled for Friday night in Licking County

LICKING COUNTY -- The Ohio State Highway Patrol, Licking County Sheriff’s Office and the Pataskala Police Department will be holding two OVI checkpoints Friday night in Licking County.The first checkpoint will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on State Route 16, Broad Street near Cedar Street in Pataskala. The second checkpoint is scheduled from 10 p.m. through midnight on State Route 79 near Reinhart Drive in Heath.The OVI checkpoint is done to deter motorists from driving under the influence
