Outsiders challenge established politicians in Ohio’s U.S. Senate primary races

WASHINGTON — They are, depending on the analogy you prefer, David in the biblical story of David and Goliath or Don Quixote, tilting at windmills. They have little cash in their campaign war chests and not much in the way of visibility. But in a year when political outsiders are beloved, Don Elijah Eckhart and Kelli Prather — both the ultimate political outsiders — hope that some of that love for outsiders goes their way on March 15.
