OSHP: Southern Ohio Correction officer stabbed by inmate

LUCASVILLE, Ohio -- The Ohio State Highway Patrol is on the scene of a stabbing at the Southern Ohio Correctional Facility in Lucasville, Ohio.A correction officer was stabbed by an inmate Tuesday morning, according to OSHP.Both the officer and the inmate were transported to a local hospital, according to officials.The severity of their injuries is unknown at this time.No other information was immediately available.
