'Orange is the New Black' author teaching prison writing classes in Ohio

MARYSVILLE, Ohio — Piper Kerman's students always show up on time, homework in hand, eager to work. They can't skip class because they're inmates at the Ohio Reformatory for Women. But Kerman's pupils clearly want to be there, searching for a taste of freedom through their writing that they cannot now experience in real life.
