Opponents want AEP profit-guarantee hearing pushed back

While many people take time off this week, utility lawyers are working day and night to prepare for a hearing on Monday on a closely watched proposal to give American Electric Power a profit guarantee on certain coal-fired plants. In exchange, it would agree to big investments in renewable energy.
