One suspect in custody after shots fired at Newark Walmart

NEWARK, Ohio — One person is in custody after police responded to a shots fired incident at the Newark Walmart.Police responded to a domestic situation at the Newark Walmart on N. 21st Street at 5:07 p.m.Newark police say acquaintances met in the store's parking lot to exchange a dog. An altercation then led to shots being fired. The suspect was arrested an hour later.No one was injured.
