One person hurt in overnight officer-involved shooting

COLUMBUS - Columbus police said one person was shot after a short chase near the Ohio State University Campus overnight.Officers were called to the area of Summit Street and East 16th Avenue just after midnight because of a person reported to be down-and-out behind the wheel of their vehicle.When an officer approached the vehicle, the driver took off and nearly hit the responding officer.The Columbus Police helicopter later spotted the person exit the vehicle on East 16th Avenue and take off on
