One dead as motorcycle hits stopped vehicle in northeast Columbus

CLINTON TOWNSHIP – One person is dead after a motorcycle crashed into a stopped vehicle near the intersection of Cleveland Avenue and Elmore Avenue.The crash happened a little before 2 p.m. Wednesday.According to Chief Jim Gilbert with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, they are interviewing witnesses as to why the motorcycle struck the parked vehicle.
