One dead after single-vehicle crash in Licking County

GRANVILLE – One person died as a result of a single-vehicle crash on U.S. 40 in Licking County Monday afternoon.Troopers from the Granville Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol are investigating the crash which occurred east of Jacksontown around 1 p.m.A 2007 Ford Ranger, driven by David A. Taylor, 66, of Newark began weaving across both lanes of travel when he drove off the right side of the roadway and struck a utility pole, witnesses told the OSHP. He was pronounced dead at the scene.T
