Ohio’s state troopers union OKs contract on second vote

A month after overwhelmingly rejecting a new contract with the state, the Ohio State Troopers Association overwhelmingly approved a new pact with raises totaling 12.5 percent. The three-year contract was approved this week by 91 percent of the union representing about 1,700 patrol employees.
