Ohioans have fewer opportunities to take driving tests

Stacy Eades thought it would be simple to schedule her 16-year-old son for his driving test at the Bureau of Motor Vehicles station a few blocks from her home in Urbana in Champaign County. It’s where he’d been practicing for months. But she was told that the office was open for testing just one day a month. That surprised her. But so did an employee’s suggestion that she drive to Clark County instead.
