Ohio State sues Cincinnati casino over ‘Shoe’ name

“The Shoe” belongs on only one foot, at least according to a trademark case filed by Ohio State University against the Horseshoe Cincinnati casino. The case involves Horseshoe Cincinnati’s use of the name “The Shoe” for its concert venue and its attempt to register it as a trademark in 2013.
