Ohio State police says vehicle thefts down during spring break 2017

Ohio State Police tell CrimeTracker 10 during Spring Break 2017, officers investigated 13 reports of thefts from cars on or near campus.That's down a staggering 66 percent from the same time period last year when victims reported 39 break-ins.Police reports reveal most of the smash and grabs happened off campus between 6:30 p.m. and 2 am. In almost every case, thieves smashed out car windows and took whatever they could get their hands on including loose change and laptops.Danielle Skillman said
