Ohio State issues safety notice after student robbed at gunpoint near campus

A student was reportedly robbed at gunpoint near Ohio State’s campus Wednesday evening.It happened around 7:50 p.m. on E. 14th Avenue. The student told Columbus Police two armed men stole his backpack and drove away from the campus area in a gray van.No injuries were reported in the robbery.Police say details of the suspects are limited and no descriptions were provided.Columbus Police are asking anyone with information related to this crime to call the CPD Detective Bureau at 614-645-4624
