Ohio State honors former basketball head coach Thad Matta

During halftime of Wednesday game against Syracuse, Ohio State honored former men's basketball head coach Thad Matta.Ohio State unveiled a banner highlighting Matta's career from 2005-2017.Matta coached the Buckeyes for 13 seasons and won 337 games with five regular-season Big Ten Conference Championships and four Big Ten tournament championships.Ohio State made the NCAA Tournament nine times under Matta including two Final Four appearances in 2007 and 2012.Always a Buckeye.
