Ohio State gets $1.4 million gift to build tower among north dorms

A $1.4 million gift from Columbus businessman Tom W. Davis will give Ohio State University the visual focal point planners have wanted for the massive North Residential District at Lane Avenue and High Street. By the fall of 2017, a 75-foot-tall brick tower will rise from the district’s “town square,” on the north side of North Recreation Center.
