Ohio State closes two parking lots, 2,100 spaces during construction

Traffic lines were a bit longer on Medical Center Drive, Tuesday.The Ohio State University has shut down Cannon Drive between Medical Center Drive and 12th Avenue for a construction project that will move Cannon Drive closer to State Route 315.By moving Cannon Drive, Ohio State believes it will do a handful of things:Create 12 acres of developable landServe as future flood protectionCreate an eventual north-south connection between King and Lane AvenuesEnhance green space in the Olentangy River
