Ohio State announces independent group will work with Urban Meyer investigation

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State University trustees announced an independent group will work with the team tasked with investigating the situation surrounding head football coach Urban Meyer and former assistant coach Zach Smith.Meyer is on administrative leave while Ohio State investigates claims that he knew about the 2015 allegations of abuse against Smith, who was fired last week.The university said the group includes six people:Current trustees Alex Fischer, Janet Porter and Alex Shum
