Ohio Senate bill would trim green energy goals

State standards for energy efficiency would get knocked down a few notches in a new version of a controversial measure. The proposal, made public Tuesday, faces the daunting challenges of passing the General Assembly in the few weeks before the session ends, and then overcoming the apparent opposition of Gov. John Kasich.
